Castle Age Generals -VERY IMPORTANT Tips and Tools
http://mysticsaga.com/CADSU/index.php?topic=2968.0

One of the most important and least understood things in the game is the use of Castle Age Generals. Large numbers of generals are needed for invasions. Invasions are needed to get battlehearts for Chase and for some moderate alchemy items. 5000 invasions get you many, many favor points and skill points, -NOT JUST those you receive from the demigods. I designed this file to help people understand this issue and move forward first with invasions at low level to get those demi points and all those crucial demigod gifts.
Also, many people do not realize the uses of certain generals or that generals may be SELECTED that are not on their home page for purchase with favor points. You do not have to choose inferior generals. For instance, at level 20, a character might have BOTH Maalvus AND Darius, making her rather nasty in duels.

Castle Age is a game of Economics and Points. These are some VERY simplified points to consider.
1. The first thing you must do in Castle Age is BUY ALL the LAND you can. You need funds to purchase generals, troops, equipment and even some magic. You need funds for upkeep of much of the same.
2. Invasions are measured by points added from your attack and defense, plus generals, troops, equipment and magic. You get one of each item for every person in your army up to 501* Magic is tough to get, especially at low levels, but generals are even tougher to fill out an entire force of 501 troops.
3. Duels ONLY count one of each of your best and YOU, your attack and defense.
4. You do not need mass quantities of generals unless you are doing large numbers of invasions. Then you only need more generals if you are LOSING invasions and you cannot win any other way.
5. It is best to SELECT the best generals that meet your needs. For guild battle/dueling, consider your class and get a general that benefits your special ability OR use a general that has massive overall points (like the BEST OVERALL epic general from Ascension . . . Agamemnon!!). If you focused on monster battle (then you shouldn't really be in a guild, but in a monster hunter group . . . I can recommend some), then you should select generals that have special monster killing abilities: Divine Power, Critical Bonus, Stamina Boost, Triple Dmg (versus the 2 bar bosses)

For these reasons, the following information should be perused as early and as often as possible for planning purposes. Many, many more generals are out there -like Nautica!
-----------------------------------Information Links-----------------------------------------
The authoritative, most up-to-date listing of generals and their source is available online at: http://castleage.wikidot.com/generals

Here is where you go to CHOOSE the best monthly generals to buy, but don't just take them all (unless you have a lot of money to burn):
http://castleage.wikia.com/wiki/Oracle/Monthly_Specials

You NEED TO GET YOUR ARMY to 501 ASAP, BUT you only need about 260 to get a very good general and all his gear -7 items- FOR FREE!!
You need to RECRUIT Darius and all of his equipment from: https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/index.php?bm=1&ref=bookmarks&count=0

Here is a very good strategy guide link online written by someone else:
Generals Strategy Guide
http://castleage.wikia.com/wiki/Strategy_Guides/Monthly_Special_Generals_Analysis
------------------------------------Invasion Army Size Boosters-------------------------------

There are a few special generals that allow you to "cheat" by invading with MORE THAN 501 army members.
Chase:
4 20 16 +20 Army
SET 20 18 +20 Army
Special Ability
While equipped, increases Max Army Limit by X.
Alchemy, Requires 25,000 Battlehearts amassed from the Deathrune Siege. You may as well get started on this early in the game, say around level 15 because it is going to take a long time. You will get 41 Favor Points, 20 Skill Points, and an Energy Potion from the first 5000 winning invasions (total).

Crom: Special Ability
While equipped, Army Limit is increased by X to 501+X.
Treasure Chest: Alpha
Rarity: Rare
4 17 17 +20 Army Limit
SET 19 17 +20 Army Limit

Artanis: Special Ability
While equipped, Army Limit is increased by X to 501+X.
Treasure Chest: Alpha
Rarity: Common
3 15 16 +15 Army Limit
4 16 17 +20 Army Limit

Mephistopheles: While equipped, Army Limit is increased by X to 501+X.
Treasure Chest: Alpha
Rarity: Epic
1 24 20 +10 Army Limit
2 25 21 +20 Army Limit
4 27 23 +40 Army Limit
SET 27 23 +40 Army Limit
+1 Stamina

--------------------------------------------War Council--------------------------------------
War Council Heroes:
Adriana -3 Defense to Opposing War Council @ lvl 4
4 19 21 -3 Defense to Opposing War Council
SET 23 21 -3 Defense to Opposing War Council
+2% Critical hit chance
Buy Link: https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=64
Lifebane: +2 Attack to Adriana Buy Link: https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=65
Death Ward: +2 Attack to Adriana Buy Link: https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=66
Skullstone Relic: +2% Critical hit chance when Adriana is equipped Buy Link: https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=67
Adriana is one of those special use generals that you really OUGHT to have if you do that thing. Her thing is WAR COUNCIL. Just place her in as your selected general, even if you happen to havce found some stronger gernerals to replace her on the council and let her voodoo the enemies' armor! You can also use her in War of the Red Plains and Lion's Rebellion to give you a boost in Tactics if you are having trouble there.

Sofira: 1 16 21 +2 Attack to your War Council for the next 5 attacks
2 17 22 +3 Attack to your War Council for the next 5 attacks
3 18 23 +4 Attack to your War Council for the next 5 attacks
4 19 24 +5 Attack to your War Council for the next 5 attacks
To use her special ability Sofira has to be equipped as your current general, but does not have to be in your War Council. Special Ability Innervate: +X Attack to your War Council for the next 5 attacks, 8-hour Cooldown
Treasure Chest: Oblivion Rarity: Rare
If you managed to pull Sofira out of Oblivion (sounds funny, doesn't it?), you were probably not going for her. You were -hopefully- drawing for Azriel. But since you did get her, use her properly. She must be placed as your active general and does not have to be on your war council to use her special effect. IT ONLY WORKS FIVE TIMES EVERY EIGHT HOURS!! She is a good general with strong numbers in any case. If you have Adriana also, bench Sofira after the 5th War and replace her with Adriana, or just keep Adriana there for simplicity.

Azalia: Stats: 21/19
4 21 19 +5 attack the second position of your War Council (Mage Tower)
SET 22 21 +5 attack the second position of your War Council (Mage Tower)
+1% Critical hit
Azalia - https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=87
Hyperion: 1 15 15 +1 Attack to war council
4 18 18 +2 Attack to war council
SET 19 19 +2 Attack to war council +1% Critical
Virtue of Temperance (6 Attack, 14 Defense) - Glove Item Bonus: +1% critical when Hyperion is equipped
Virtue of Fortitude (14 Attack, 32 Defense) - Helmet Item Bonus: +1 Defense to Hyperion
Virtue of Justice (25 Attack, 25 Defense) - Weapon Item Bonus: +1 Attack to Hyperion
* Hyperion is acquired by using alchemy with the Virtuous Gear. You must be at least level 100 to unlock his recipe.
* All the items required to summon Hyperion can be obtained from beating the War of the Red Plains.
* Hyperion must be your Active General in order to activate his ability, regardless of whether he is in your war council or not.
* Hyperion has a bug. At level 3, his thumb profile says "+1 Attack" but it says "+2 Attack" in his full profile when equipped. When he reaches level 4, his full profile ability will say "Maximum Level Reached".
* Temperance, Justice, and Fortitude are all names of Tarot cards.
* Hyperion is also the name of one of the twelve Titans in Greek mythology (Ὑπερίων) , the Sun Titan (his name means literally "The High-One").
Hyperion is tough to get. You must spend quite a while collecting alchemy parts from beating the War of the Red Plains.
---------------------------------------Boss Fight Heroes---------------------------------------
2 Bar Boss Attackers:
The Best of the Best: Orc King Special Ability While equipped, Power Attacks now use X times the Stamina and damage is increased by X times.
Epic General from the Alpha Chest, just as valuable to boss fighters as Mephistopheles is to Invasion fighters.
4 Attack 22 Defense 22 x5 Monster Attack damage and cost (This means your 10 point Power Attack costs 50 points with just 1 click, but does QUINTUPLE damage while the boss only returns SINGLE damage to you and your party).

Maalvus
Lvl1: 20 Attack 15 Defense
Special Ability: While equipped, Power Attacks now use 2 times the Stamina and damage is increased by 2 times.
Maalvus is the best 2 bar boss fighter you can select for purchase. He is much better that Barbarus, who is now obsolete, BUT he cannot compare to the Epic Orc King found in the Alpha chest. His raw numbers are also good against most other targets in duels, invasions, etc. This is an EXCELLENT first or second choice to buy with your first 30 favor points.
Barbarus
Special Ability Increase the Power Attacks by X times, uses the Stamina X times
4 21 18 3x Stamina Used, 3x Power Attack
-----------------------------------Critical Damage Booster Heroes-----------------------------
Dolomar
4 22 18 +5% to Critical
Dolomar is the only truly good Hero that can be selected at the Oracle with integral critical damage infliction capacity. Many heroes have items that may be obtained that allow them to cause critical damage, but you must get the hero AND the item. Some heroes in chests have integral critical damage, but you must rely on the fickle nature of Lady Luck to grant you what you desire. If you seek this capability for certain, this is your man.
Dolomar has a spell that is not too terrible available for purchase but none of his equipment gives him any bonuses over +1. His stats place him in the upper crust of monthly generals. If you do not gamble on chests, Dolomar should be on your War Council.
Copy Carry these into your browser and hit enter to purchase them.
Dolomar - https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=121
Arcane Vortex - https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=122
Magus Plate - https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=123
Forsaken Tome - https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=124
Your FIVE other options for boosting Critcal Damage Chance Are:
1. Lotus Ravenmoore [26|19] : [+4% Crit Chance on Monsters] Vanguard Chest Epic (5% chance, 3 other possibilities, 1% LESS THAN Dolomar, but better stats)
NOTE: IF, you get Signet of Lotus: Inflict Additional +30 Damage to an enemy upon victory as Rogue Class when Lotus is equipped (Att 40, Def15). Obtained: Combine 1x Apocalypse Band and 2 x Emblem of Lotus through Alchemy

2. Slayer [19|18] : [+3% Crit Chance on Monsters] (#26)
SET: 20 19 +3% Critical chance against Monsters
+1 Max Energy
3. Kaiser [20|19] : [+3% Crit Chance on Monsters] (#52)
SET: 24 19 +4% Critical hit
4. Vorenus [17|17] : [+2% Crit Chance on Monsters] Vanguard Uncommon
5. Lothar the Ranger [20|16] : [+2% Crit Chance on Monsters] Vanguard Chest Rare

---------------------------------Cool Generals from Chests------------------------------------

Here are some more of the very best generals you can get from the chests, and which chests might contain them.
Azriel: While equipped, +X attack for every 50 Archangels (Max 40 Attack @200)
Treasure Chest: Onslaught
Rarity: Epic
1 25 19 +0.25 attack for every 50 Archangels (Max 40 Attack)
4 28 22 +1.00 attack for every 50 Archangels (Max 40 Attack) SET 30 27 +1.00 attack for every 50 Archangels (Max 40 Attack)
+1 Cleric Class Bonus Heal
NOTE: Azzy has the capability of being one of the most devastating generals in Castle Age. If you are reasonable intelligent, you will have all lands maxed and will keep buying archangel (excellent troops anyway; I have 402) until you have at least 200.
THEN AZZY FIGHTS AS ATTACK 67, DEFENSE 23.
She also has three items you might be able to get.
Angels Crusade: +5 Defense (Onslaught Chest, Att6, Def10, Spell)
Angelic Rebirth: +2 Attack (Dropped only by Azzy herself, Att17, Def17, Magic)
Signet of Azriel: Heal Additional 1 Health to all Allies in the same gate upon victory as Cleric Class when Azriel is equipped (Att 15, Def 40, Obtained: Combine 1x Apocalypse Band and 2 x Emblem of Azriel through Alchemy)

Banthus Archfiend: "There is no known recorded information about Banthus Archfiend but rumors say he is over a 1000 years old."
Special Ability Soulsteal:
+X% critical on your next attack, 12-hour cooldown
1 21 19 +20% critical on your next attack
4 24 22 +50% critical on your next attack
Special Ability Soulsteal:
+X% critical on your next attack, 12-hour cooldown
Treasure Chest: Oblivion Rarity: Epic

Miri Bladebourne: "Miri grew up in a distinguished family line of blademasters and was the youngest in the clan to attain the title of blademasters. The Bladebourne clan is known for their exquisite skill with the sword and are often recruited into service for royalty and rich nobleman."
1 16 18 +4% chance of critical hit on your next attack
4 19 21 +10% chance of critical hit on your next attack
SET 20 22 +10% chance of critical hit on your next attack
+1% Critical
Special Ability Limit Blade: +X% chance of critical hit on your next attack, 4-hour Cooldown
Treasure Chest: Oblivion Rarity: Uncommon

Hyacinth: While equipped, transfer X% Max Stamina to Max Energy
Treasure Chest: Oblivion
Rarity: Common
* Hyacinth's ability is an equivalent skill point transfer, much like Solara's. Since stamina is worth 2 SP, you will get 2 points of max energy for every 1 point of max stamina transferred. If 5% of your max stamina is 10, then your max energy will be increased by 20.
* Hyacinth's tab profile ability does not match with her full profile one. At level 1, the tab profile says 10% but the full profile (and actual effect) has it at 5%.
This is a great level up general since energy refills soooo much more slowly than stamina refills.
(Note: If you have massive STAMINA to burn and are about to level, it is probably better to use Maalvus or even Barbarus. If you have a large amount of ENERGY to burn and are about to level, it is probably better to select a Boss QUEST like the one that gives the Keira orb [100 energy] or the Meph symbol [50 energy]. It would be better still to expend that energy on a boss battle reinforcing your ship versus a serpent or healing your party versus boss type).

Evalice: LEVEL 4
Once a disciple for Zurran, Evalice has decided to take her own path and push the necrotic magics to new limits. She is a powerful being to be concerned about...
25 Attack | 23 Defense
Special Ability: While Equipped, Transfer 30% Defense to Attack
This General is potentially very useful to those who do offensive PVP battles, especially at higher levels. Just do not leave her defending your keep.

------------------------------------Best Heroes to Buy-------------------------------------------
Here are some Excellent Heroes to Purchase:
Maalvus: Stats: 23/18
Ability: Increase Cost and Damage of Stamina and Energy Attacks vs Monster by 3x and Increase critical hit rate by 3%
Analysis: The main use of Maalvus is against 2-bar monsters, particularly the next generation monsters (monsters that uses the Monster Class system). You can hit for 3x damage but receive only 1x retalition to the second bar per click. Thus requiring less energy to maintain that bar. Maalvus also saves you clicks if you are in a hurry. And during near level ups, if you have only a few exp needed to the next level and you have quite a lot of energy or stamina available, he can help you use them up so they aren't "wasted" in a sense and also give you some exp boost towards the next level. The added 3% critical rate is great for his use, allowing more chance to score big critical hits.
A neutral stance on Maalvus' use is the exp gains. You can get big exp bonuses with Maalvus if you get lucky. Seeing those are awesome. You have less chances to get them as he triples consumption so in the long run, it evens out.

Zin: Stats: 20/20 BUY THIS HERO!!!!
Here is the link: https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=#83
Ability: Recharge 15 Stamina up to your max when you attack in battles or monsters once per 23 hours.
Notes: Does not work in Raids
Analysis: Zin's ability is remarkable. She adds 15 more stamina to the amount you regen per day. You can have as much as 303 stamina regeneratd per 24 hours. That effectively means reducing your stamina timer by 15 seconds. (Since charge up time is 5 min per stamina, every hour you charge up 12 stamina, and each day you charge up 288 stamina. But if you have 15 more you effectively charge up 303 stamina each day. Since each day have 1440 minutes, now the equivalent charge time per stamina is 1440/303 = 4.75. So you save 0.25 minutes, or 15 seconds.) You have to activate her ability manually by hitting other players or monsters to get it. Be sure that your current stamina count has room to recharge 15 more before using her ability.

Kataan: Stats: 22/22
Ability: Kataan gains +2 to Attack and Defense when he levels up
Analysis: Kataan has very potent stats for a monthly general. His stats at level 4 rival rare and even some epic chest generals making him a strong candidate for War, but even more so as a member of an INVASION ARMY. Some generals with lesser stats might outfight him in certain circumstances, but in general (pun intended), go for the big numbers and get Kataan. Special effects only work on the SELECTED GENERAL. As an unselected general in an invasion, Kataan is far more useful than a general with lesser stats but really cool special abilities that are not being used. (That is where the online strategy guide errs concerning Kataan).
3 20 20 +6 Attack and Defense to Kataan. He maxes out at level 3, not level 4, BUT he gets larger boosts from his gear than normal.
The Disembowler: +2 Attack to Kataan
Tribal Crest: +1% Critical hit chance when Kataan is equipped
Hunters Raiments: +2 Defense to Kataan
Copy Carry these into your browser and hit enter to purchase them.

Lifebane: +2 Attack to Adriana Buy Link: https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=65
Death Ward: +2 Attack to Adriana Buy Link: https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=66
Skullstone Relic: +2% Critical hit chance when Adriana is equipped Buy Link: https://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/oracle.php?buychoice=67
Solara Special Ability Transfers (X% Max Energy / 2) to Max Stamina.
4 20 22 Transfer (20% Max Energy/2) to Max Stamina SET 22 24 Transfer (20% Max Energy/2) to Max Stamina
+4 Max Energy
Additional Information:
Solara's ability transfers 2 points of energy to 1 point of stamina since stamina is worth 2 skill points. So if you have her at level 4 and 20% of your max energy is 10, your max stamina will increase by 5.
Solara is that general you want to equip when you are heavily involved in fighting too many monsters and don't need your energy quite as much. You select her not before you level, but right after you burn up a lot of that energy and before you go offline. Then when you come back, you have more stamina that you would normally have. She works best for players with stamina under 200. Also, her stats make her an excellent monster fighter and war council member for MOST CA players. Chest buyers will eventually relegate her to the weakest tower spot on the council as epic generals take over.
Even her item bonuses are tempting. They can ONLY be obtained at the Oracle.
Item bonuses:
Solstice Blade: +2 Attack to Solara (Att15, Def17)
Seraphim Shield: +2 Defense to Solara (Att11, Def13)
Silverlight Seal: +4 Max Energy when Solara is equipped (Att11, Def11)

Godric: 20/20 Increase Max Energy by 20
SET 22 22 +20 Max Energy
+2 Max Stamina
Analysis: Godric's use is mainly for level-ups. +20 to your Max Energy without penalty to anywhere else is great even for high energy builds. That's equivalent to 1 hour and 40 minutes of wait time. Just remember to equip him when you are about to level. Godric can also be used for refills but there already is a better general for that. But if you don't have Hyacinth, Godric is the next best thing.
Since Godric should never be your primary combat hero, you probably do not want to buy his gear despite the good bonuses it offers. The Time Shift is a spell (Att9, Def10) that might be worth it in the long run if you consider the +2 stamina every time you level IF you use Godric every time you level.
Rift Blade: +2 Attack to Godric
Spellweaver Cloak: +2 Defense to Godric
Time Shift: +2 Max Stamina when Godric is equipped

-----------------------------Online Strategy General Guide Disagreement-------------------------
The above-listed strategy guide under rates Kataan and err's on the below generals:
Generals Considered Obsolete in the Strategy Guide that warrant a second look:
Crissana: Stats: 22/18
Ability: Increase All Player Stats by 4
Analysis: Well now...this general doesn't boost just 2 stats, she boosts all 5 (Energy, Stamina, Attack, Defense, Health). Sounds impressive but suffers the same fate as the other multi-stat boosting generals. CA's general system just doesn't "need" this type of generals unless the additions are heavy enough to take the role of 5 or even just 3 generals.
Azalia: Stats: 21/19 considered weak now versus newer generals (DSF rebuttal: "Really? 40 points is weak now? If you have room in your army for her, get her. It is better to get her than to get some silly weapon from a chest that is not as good as weapons you already have")
Ability: +5 Attack to your Mage Tower (2nd war council spot)
Analysis: Boosting only one slot in war is weak when there are generals that boost all seven. Could be useful in Lion's Rebellion since Aurelius (unknown stats, equipped with heavy gear) is seen to be moving to the second war slot if you use Tactics. If you are losing, maybe Azalia is can make a difference. Even then Adriana should be enough to red-cross the rebel.
-----------------------------------------Worthy of Note-----------------------------------
Suri: 4 21 19 +0.20 Player Defense for Every Hero Owned
Buy this hero only if you plan on getting a LOT of heroes. She has good, solid stats in her own right, but her special benefit is useless unless you have a lot of generals. Owning 50 generals gives Suri stats of Attack 21, Defense 29. 50 Generals is not a hard number to obtain.

Kaylen: 4 19 21 +0.15 Attack for every Hero owned
Buy this hero only if you plan on getting a LOT of heroes. She has good, solid stats in her own right, but her special benefit is useless unless you have a lot of generals. Owning 50 generals gives Suri stats of Attack 21, Defense 29. 50 Generals is not a hard number to obtain.

The best buy, in my estimation, for chests is the ALPHA chest. WHY? Everything in it seems weak or common next to the newer stuff EXCEPT there are several army boosters in there and you have nearly about a 38-40% chance of drawing a general each time you draw. If you get the same general twice CA gives you 30 FAVOR POINTS BACK and the ALPHA IS DISCOUNTED!! (20 points for 1 draw, 55 for 3!!!)
I drew 9 chests and got a 2 epic generals plus a host of other goodies including 3 other generals!! BEAT THAT!

The other chest set to draw from now is Ascension. You NEED those divine heroes to fight the 4 giants effectively. Everything in there is nice in comparison to the older chests.

Generals per chest: Alpha: 12, Vanguard: 11, Onslaught: 13, Oblivion: 12, Annihilator: 6, Ascension: 6 (but 2 more from alchemy parts)

Are you a member of a Castle Age guild? If so, you really ought to consider guild combat strategy NOW! What class are you? Do you have abilities that complement your class? What heroes do you have with abilities or stats that might be useful in guild battle? Here are some special guild heroes to consider.
FIRST though, CHOOSE Agamemnon if you have him (or Aurelius, Aurora, etc.) These generals are only for ACTIVE GUILD COMBATANTS and then often might not be as good as an epic hero anyway. For special emphasis, the epic heroes with special guild battle skills are included here. GO GET Azriel/Corvintheus/Aurelieus/Jahanna!!

Excellent Guild Battle Heroes:
Deianira 2,500 Guild Coins; very good guild battler, not necessarily better than an epic
lvl 4 20 17 Deals 2 extra damage in Guild Battles
Deshara 111 Deal +40 additional damage as a Rogue upon Guild victory@ Lvl 4
Shivak 149 Increases Fortitude Effect by 60% @ Lvl 4
Syren 145 Increases Mage confused target's chance to attack themselves by 10% @ Lvl 4
Aethyx 141 Increases Rogue Poison damage by +10 and duration by +2 @ Lvl 4
Tyxeros 137 (wild card, desparate measures)
Daphne 129 Deflect 20 damage back to the attacker when defending in Guild Battles @ Lvl 4 (weakest of the 3)
Sanna 107 Heal +4 additional health as a Cleric in Guild Battles @ Lvl 4
Persephone Reflect Damage (Festival Games free hero) "The Princess of the Fairies from a far away land where the Demi God of War makes his home." (some discussion was whether she is a fairy or an angel -duh!)
Level Attack Defense Ability
1 7 7 deflect 2 damage
2 8 8 deflect 5 damage
3 9 9 deflect 7 damage
4 10 10 deflect 10 damage

Treasure Chest: Annihilator Rarity: Epic
Aurora: @ level 4 26 26 +1.0 Attack per 4 health
Therefore, with a player Health of 200, the general Aurora delivers a stunning 76 attack and 26 defense. She is a strong attack option for any class.
-----Castle Age Generals and Equipment Strategy--------
• The only exceptions for the following guidelines is when you need to level generals because that trumps everything.
• For the sub-quests, use Sano for finishing them faster or Titania for more drops (example: getting more pieces to make Cartigan on the Underworld).
• Use Aeris of course to bank your gold, and Scarlett to leave on when you sign off to get more gold, Mercedes if you don’t want to buy Scarlett.
• For buying soldiers in Town, use Darius (most of you must have him already).
• Use Godric to refill for Energy, if not then Elizabeth or Theorin or Aria.
• Use Azeron to refill for Stamina (if you have more than 50 generals). If not then Araxis.
• Use Angelica (or Morrigan) to collect rewards from a monster to get extra demi points.
• Use Angelica (or Morrigan) on Raids to get more demi drops per attack, Percival (or Edea) to not have to go to the keep rapidly to heal, gets on my nerves really.

• For War, use Adriana rather than Hyperion to be equipped while doing War. If you don’t have her then Hyperion is ok.
• For PvP Invade, the top is Mephistopheles, then Chase, then Crom, then Artanis. Other than that, use the “most powerful” in Duels, both attacking and defending.
• It is important to level up all your generals because you take them all with you when invading (1 General per 5 army members). Get them equipped with their gear as much as you can.
• For PvP Duels, I will update my excel workbook of generals with a sheet that includes ranking PvP wise for both attack and defense (which means that gear and bonuses will be included).
• For PvM:
o As a general rule, use the general with the highest critical rates on non-defense monsters (Lotus, Kaiser along with his backdraft, Slayer, Vorenus, Lothar), except for a few exceptions that I will list below.
o On Keira, Sylvannas and Dragons use Elin, then her brother Zarevok.
o Cronus, if you don’t have a high criticals general, use the general that adds the most to your attack (Aurora, Kull, Azriel, Malekus, Ophelia, Scourge, Vanquish, Serene, Athenia, Calista, Memnon, Illusia, Helena, Kaylen, Medius, Chimerus, Tristram, Lyra, Fenris, Nautica, Lillith and Riku, Cartigan, Gorlak) … if you don’t have any of them (which I doubt, at least you will have Vanquish) you can still use Elin or Zarevok with good results (actually better than Serene to the end).
o Attacking a defense based monster (which are the norm these days) is best with using the Orc King. His 5x attack is best because the monster only retaliates with 1x against the health (defense, armor, shield … etc). If you don’t have him then get his mini which is Barbarus, spending an extra 25 FP to buy his Helm is worth it as it increases his critical hit rate. Know that using the Orc King (or Barbarus) on non-defense based monster is not encouraged. One hit with Orc King on a Cronus is less than 5 hits with Vanquish.
o Defending against monster is better with the general that adds the most to your defense (Draconius, Ambrosia, Serra, Skaar, Dante, Vulcan, Marina, Gallador, Anwar, Isolde, Suri, Dexter, Lailah, Shino).
o Use Stone Guardian just “before” the last assist on any Siege Weapon. That will make the Siege Weapon do 10% more damage. Generally leave him ON if you sign off when you have a Monster you have summoned still ongoing.
